How Does It Work?
SpectraVision measures changes in connective tissue, Meridians and Acupoints to determine your overall “balance.” Meridians are a network of energy paths that lie directly beneath the skin. The Chinese have used Meridians for centuries to determine blockages in energy flow. Meridians are a vital element of Acupuncture and Acupressure.
What Should I Expect?
The procedure is quick and painless. A cuff will be placed around your hand and wrist (kind of like a soft cast you would wear if you sprained your wrist). You will sit still and quietly for about 3 minutes while your energy flow is measured. You won’t feel anything.
The second part of the test is EAV, or Electro-Acupuncture by Voll. This is a completely painless procedure using a probe (not needles) to test your energy flow against Meridian points on your hands.
Since the test is very complex, we will do a cursory reading of the results during your first visit; however, a more thorough report will be sent to you within 3 business days of your appointment. At this point, we can develop a personalized treatment plan for you, which may include nutritional support, homeopathy, and other lifestyle changes. We may also recommend additional therapies like Ionic Detox Footbaths, Acupuncture, Cold Laser Therapy, or Chiropractic Adjustments to support your healing experience.
